As I enjoy my first morning in County Clare, Ireland, for Ireland’s Publishing Show, book 4 in the Silvan Outlands series is finally out. Chaos ensues…

I’m in there, sweating buckets, telling myself everything will be all right, that I haven’t made a mistake with my dates, that promo is where it should be, that my images are the right size and I won’t make a jackass of myself. And no, I’m not nervous, honest.

Let’s start with the baby. Quest for Adakia, book 4 in a projected 5-book series is out today. Like the graphics?

Of course, with every new launch, there is promo going on. If you haven’t read the original Silvan series, now is a great time to start. The first boxset is on offer until 23rd March.

And of course, because book 4 of Silvan Outlands is launching, I had to make book 1 free. So if you haven’t started Outlands yet, now is your moment. Get it here:

With everything (supposedly) in place, it’s going to be a fabulous week ahead in Ireland where I get to greet old friends, and make new acquaintances, while learning about the latest tendencies in indie publishing. I’ll come back with a headful of ideas and probably disappear for an entire month after. But that’s the great thing about conferences. Writing is a very solitary job, and sometimes, you need something or someone to drag you out of the house - or shed - and show you there is a life beyond the writing room.

I should probably stop rambling. There’s so much to do today, and there’s a party going on here at The Rine, and here I am, still stuck to the screen and checking my stats.
